I'm all about using photography to visually tell the tale of the day you started your journey as a married couple.
I have been shooting weddings for 12 years and my love for my profession refuses to wane! My approach to photography is a mixture of documentary style (capturing reality as it unfolds) and photographing with gentle direction. As much as I love capturing, I also love refining my images in post processing. My background in graphic design has given me a great foundation to create art from an unedited image and truly breathe life into it.
So, on the theme of 'stories': We all know that your wedding day is just the beginning of something amazing! That's why so many of my couples return later so that I can build on that precious life-book of theirs. As an experienced maternity, new born and family photographer, I passionately capture these as well!
My photography style is soft, natural and just moody enough to maintain a litte mystery!
Personally, I am a mom to a gorgeous little boy who keeps me on my toes and frequents as my little model when there’s no one else around to photograph! Motherhood has also pushed my work to a new level, as I have come to appreciate how quickly life changes and how important it is to capture those memories.
On the rare occasion that you catch me without my camera, you might find me painting, creating earrings for my other little business, Terra Dea Adornments or amateurishly, yet eagerly playing on my guitar! I have a soul that craves creativity and desires soaking up every drop of beauty life has to offer!
