Carina & Elandré Somerset West Wedding
A few months back I met Carina and Elandré for their engagement shoot and just loved how laid back and easy going they were. And no surprise – they were super chill on their big day too!
The ceremony and reception was held at Highberry Estate Wedding venue on the mountainous outskirts of Somerset West, Cape Town – just another beautiful place in our lovely South Africa. Highberry Esate is such a perfect wedding venue – there are so many picturesque views and you don’t have to drive far for any part of the event.
For a brief while everyone was a little worried about some unexpected drizzle, but it cleared up very soon and the couple could have their ceremony on the lawn with the beautiful backdrop as planned.
The bride stepped into the aisle and simply blew everyone away – especially her groom – who just couldn’t stop staring at his beautiful new wife! After the ceremony the couple cut a pizza instead of a cake, which I found really cute and quirky and everyone enjoyed some lawn games and street foods.
I could tell early on that this crowd would throw a kick-ass party, and that they certainly did! Fun was most certainly had late into the night!
